i should have been filling up my design notebook, but having been inspired by other deviants great work i decided to resume my folding addiction.
this model was made from a hexagonal peice of plastic coated paper (draughting film).
This is beautiful, and intriguing because it looks like it's an enclosed shape in the bottom right picture. You've done a pretty fine job in folding so neatly that all the creases meet up at such nice points Did you design it yourself? Beautiful pics of the light coming through in the top left and right.
wow thanks. yes i did design it myself (its one of the very few things i have invented).
its semi hemisphereical more due to stress on the paper than design but it worked nicely in the end.
